Student Involvement

At Varney & Associates we offer a variety of internship opportunities. Through our internship programs, students get practical, on-the-job experience, as well as an opportunity to work in a variety of  accounting fields. With our flexible scheduling, students are able to attend classes while garnering experience outside the classroom.

Summer Internship

During your experience in our summer internship program, you will have the opportunity to rotate between our teams giving you hands on experience in every field in public accounting. 

Tax Season Internship

Want to see what a typical tax season looks like? With our tax season internship, you’ll get just that. Gain real-world public accounting experience working tax season while building your skills. 

Spring Open House

Spring semester we host an Open House for K-State accounting students and faculty. Attendees are able to network, tour our building, enjoy refreshments, and more.
